There only, invoked Zakariya his Lord, he said, "My Lord grant [for] me from Yourself offspring pure. Indeed, You (are) All-Hearer (of) the prayer
View 80 More Translations ↓In that self-same place, Zachariah prayed unto his Sustainer, saying: "O my Sustainer! Bestow upon me [too], out of Thy grace, the gift of goodly offspring; for Thou, indeed, hearest all prayer."
Then Zachariah prayed to his Lord saying, 'Lord, give me of Thy goodness a goodly offspring. Yea, Thou hearest prayer.
There did Zakariya pray to his Lord, saying: "O my Lord! Grant unto me from Thee a progeny that is pure: for Thou art He that heareth prayer
هُنَالِكَ دَعَا زَكَرِیَّا رَبَّهُۥۖ قَالَ رَبِّ هَبۡ لِی مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّیَّةࣰ طَیِّبَةًۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِیعُ ٱلدُّعَاۤءِ ٣٨
hunālika daʿā zakariyyā rabbahu qāla rabbi hab lī min ladunka dhurriyyatan ṭayyibatan innaka samīʿu l-duʿā
